I've always enjoyed using timers and during college I fell in love with the pomodoro method. It empowered me to take control of my time and helped me feel better about the way I was living my life.

I was using the online timers on youtube or web apps, but I kept running into problems like ads on youtube, unintuitive AI, and most importantly I couldn't take the timer with me. During my breaks I would leave my desk but I found that I was coming back to my computer well after the break time ended. I used to set a second timer on my phone, but it ended up being distracting. So I decided I had a real problem on my hands.

That reasoning combined with my love of physical objects led me to designing my own physical pomodoro timer. I'll be documenting the project here. I'm excited to share it with you and as always if you see something you'd like to sugguest for the project, leave it on my guestbook!
